Forging Tomorrow’s Forces at 29 Palms

Welcome to part five of our blog series highlighting the versatility and power of Hadean technology. In this installment, we delve into the transformative potential of Hadean for Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training (including enhancing mission rehearsals).

Focussing on our fifth scenario based in the prestigious 29 Palms, California US military training facility, we demonstrate how Hadean’s AI-driven laydown significantly reduces the time required to establish training scenarios, while also supporting modernisation and the acquisition, testing, and deployment of innovative technology for training and operations.

The training simulation scenario begins:

As the mission trainer surveys the digital map of 29 Palms, California, decades of military history resonate through its rocky ridges and arid plains. This facility has shaped soldiers into leaders, offering a ground for the realities of modern conflict. Today, things are different. With the support of Hadean’s AI driven technology, the trainer begins creating a complex, realistic training scenario in just a matter of minutes. Spending weeks painstakingly planning scenarios are now a thing of the past.

At I/ITSEC, Hadean will be demonstrating how the Synthetic Environment serves as a powerful component of LVC training for preparing leaders and teams to navigate the unpredictable challenges of modern operations.

The Technology that Drives 29 Palms

Hadean’s synthetic environment forms the core of future training, bringing together live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) components into a single, cohesive simulation. Our technology creates an immersive and realistic training experience, giving troops and commanders the ability to modify tactics and respond effectively to evolving scenarios, just like they would in real-world environments.

Rapid dynamic scenario generation and the emergent behaviour of simulations (including real-time adaptation to participants’ actions) ensures training remains engaging and unpredictable. These features foster focus and skill refinement, mirroring the fluid nature of modern operations while voice activation and on-the-fly control are available for those in the C2 (command and control) positions.

With AI-driven insights, predictive analytics,  and ongoing checks of Courses of Action (COAs) against doctrine and policy, trainers can gain a clear understanding of training outcomes and trainees have a training experience that closely matches reality, helping them fine tune their decision making in the field.

To support effective measurement of training performance, all the data from the training simulation is available for After-Action Reviews (AAR). This data can be accessed during live exercises to support COA decision-making and to provide ‘in-the-moment’ feedback for continuous improvement.

Multi-domain Training at 29 Palms

Hadean reflects the complexity of contemporary conflicts by incorporating cognitive, space and cyber domains; both providing human terrain and addressing disinformation, sentiment, cyber and electromagnetic (EM) threats. The training scenario at 29 Palms is the foundation of regular mission exercises, however Hadean is also shaping the way troops and commanders prepare for the challenges of asymmetric warfare. Modern conflicts feature additional challenges, including the effects of activity both in cyber and real space domains. Read more about Hadean’s ability to incorporate human terrain and effects of the space domain within LVC training in previous blogs.

By engaging in scenarios that feel real and unpredictable, troops develop sharper instincts and a deeper understanding of how to tackle complex situations, whether they involve physical threats or the influence of cyber and disinformation campaigns, ensuring their success when it matters most.

LVC training not only reduces the costs and logistical challenges associated with ensuring our forces are prepared for the realities of today’s battlefields, but it also equips them with decision-making experiences they will face in our ever evolving conflicts.  The war in Ukraine has shown us just how fast warfare is changing with drones, automations, and innovative tactics reshaping the frontline.

Redefining Training with Synthetic Environments

Perhaps the most important takeaway is the confidence this training instills. Beyond the obvious benefits of being cost-effective and safe, this kind of training gives trainees a chance to grow in ways that truly matter. They leave with a clearer sense of how to solve problems, adapt when the unexpected occurs, and work together under pressure. The realistic scenarios Hadean enables don’t just prepare participants for what’s next, they help them think differently, act decisively, and lead with purpose. With Hadean powered LVC training, it’s not just about preparing for the future, it’s about building the mindset and skills needed to shape it.

This concludes our blog series exploring how Hadean technology is redefining modern military operations through advanced synthetic environments. Be sure to check out the other parts to this series as linked above!
