Our world is moving towards a level of unprecedented complexity and severity where our critical infrastructure is our synthetic technology: that is to say artificial intelligence, cyber technologies, quantum computing and the like are rapidly becoming the apposite solution. We have moved from a world of discrete conflicts, to one where we are facing the emergence of new threats and the risk of existential threat.
